How To Work From Home Successfully Part 1

With the economy seeing no signs of improvement there are many more people looking to start some sort of work from home business. How would you like to cut through the bull and get comprehensive info and start making money right away.
Well I plan a series of articles that will help you do just that. Hopefully you will avoid the pitfalls and scams than can be expensive and frustrating and in most cases cause you to give up. So this series will be dedicated to the beginner with no experience in e-marketing.
First there is no magic system that will make you rich overnight so don't tell the boss off and quit your job yet. But there are many ways to make money from home.
For example a friend of mine lost her job but had a love for baking and three dogs that she considered members of the family. With a little research she found an ebook online that taught her to make gourmet dog treats. Now she's her own boss and found there are many other people that feel the same way about their pets. She makes a decent living at home doing something she loves.

For me that wasn't the answer, I wanted to work from home but wanted residual income. Something I could do once and get paid over and over. Well what I discovered was affiliate marketing. An affiliate marketer finds a product someone else is selling, maybe gourmet dog treats, and markets it on the net and gets a commission for selling it. Kind of a middle man for the manufacturer.
The problem is how do you do it? Where do you find the products? How do you get paid? Well this is where the pitfalls and scams come into play. There are predators lurking on the net with many enticing ads that make it sound as simple as ,type this in click and get paid, but believe me that's not how it works.
Most people starting out are probably like I was. Barely scraping by already with no disposable income to experiment on every come on advertised. I bought a few systems to find out I was completely lost. I didn't know the terminology, had no computer skills and no marketing skills. It didn't take me long to figure out this method wasn't going to work. So I signed up for ever thing that was free and after many months of trial and error I did develop a few skills and started generating some cash.
But it wasn't a living. So what I did was only use the money I made from the net to invest in other systems until I was up and running. It finally paid off and now it does produce a living all from my computer at home or where ever I can get an internet connection. And after all the internet never sleeps so it's residual income.
But I wish I could have run across this series of articles at the beginning and saved much time and money. Look for my next article coming soon " How To Work From Home Part 2 ". This will eventually become an ebook that I hope to market but for now enjoy for free.
